Most social orders program their captives to seek sanctuary in a form where the captors can own the entrance and control the exit. The thought of freedom is stifled by programing the captives to fear the unknown.
In the Mormon program, freedom is turned into outer darkness, backed up with the natural fear all herd animals have of getting separated from the herd. Conforming to the leader's will is turned into obeying God and their people are busied with mindless routine to keep them from questioning their General Authorities. In the Mormon world, General Authorities are people with position power and little else. The only way to do well in that world is to never question authority and always follow blindly.
The herd is gathering once again this weekend to reinforce their moronic programing. Once again the hypnotic drone of the chosen few is heard throughout the valley.
It almost always rains on Conference weekend, and my mother would say that is because when the saints meet the heavens weep. I know now that they are not tears of joy!!
