Self deception always seems virtuous, that is the nature of the beast. It always ends in self righteousness and people doing the worst things for noble reasons. It is the face of Satan imposing his will on others for their own good. Satan is every man trying to force others to conform to him in his special world.
He calls himself a prophet, he calls himself a saint, he knows what's best for others, but serving him just ain't.
Satan always ends up in solitary confinement like a trap door spider living in a black hole eating every friend that comes to visit!
