Fear is a cruel master because it possesses us from within keeping us from life and seeing all the possibilities for a better life!
Tyrants harness our fear and enslave us by getting us to focus all our energy on staying in compliance with their rules for us. Tyrants point out the differences between us in order to keep us from getting together to compare notes. Tyrants do this so we won't realize we need not fear tyrants because we outnumber them and together we can overthrow any tyrant.
Tyrants possess from the right by worming their way there with lies and deception, They create demons to our left that only the tyrant can save us from, and we turn them into monsters we imagine worse than the tyrant. This becomes true for the monsters only go away when the tyrant goes away!
Tyrants tell us not to worry about what they are doing to possess us from the right, and that it's our neighbors to our left that are the true threat! Because they have a different look, or way of thinking, or worship a god that does not support tyranny!!
