Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, is the formula for equality. Judge not that you be not judged, or as the Buddha said, don't do unto others what you wouldn't want done to you, creates the balance. These teachings create a world where like-minded people can live in peace without different like-minded groups interfering. The teachings are good but we need to follow them, and not the spin doctors that change them so we think they have the opposite meaning. We have turned Christianity into bigot training, seeing ourselves as God's chosen people. Anyone who doesn't conform to our thinking, we see as evil that must be changed or destroyed, after all, we are right and if we were not us, wouldn't we want someone to correct us. Never question yourself as long as you follow the herd, is our motto.
Like lemmings heading for the cliff, we follow the loudest trumpet, seeing the loudness as strength and truthfulness. Sometimes it is better to go to the hill and look things over first, than to follow the loudest trumpet over the cliff! Some people say we need a strong leader, I say we need a strong public that will only allow a just leader who answers to the public and not to his own bank account!
If there is a God, then we are all created by God, so to judge anyone is to judge God, but to turn a blind eye to what is going on is not non-judgment, it is just stupidity!
