Navel gazing is at the core of human development. After we have sheltered, fed,
watered, and bred, we lay back and think what is it all about. The predators among us have known this for a long, long time and have used it to possess us. They say they have found the answers to the unknowable and will share them with you if you just serve them. Being herd animals, we see this posturing of knowledge as leadership, and follow without questioning. We base our trust on the size of the herd and don't question the motives of the leaders. We snuggle in with the herd and no longer look up to the heavens in awe and wonder of what it is all about.
The deceivers no longer sit in the public eye answering for their leadership. They hide behind layers of trustees and their petty deceptions. These trustees hold our attention by sitting in positions of power, getting us to seek the approval of morons who have no knowledge amd serve their masters without question. These upside down pyramids of power, based on the position of the leader, do not form a solid base so we are constantly in flux. Basing our social world on deception creates a world where people propetuating the lies are rewarded and those pointing out the lie are punished and kicked out of the herd. Jesus died on the cross for pointing out the lies and the deceivers have turned him into a focus for their decption.
The older I get the harder this is to watch. I would like to think mankind is waking up and the balance will be restored and the next generation will live in a world that rewards the navel gazers that think for themselves and not just reward those that follow blindly!
